This model introduces a strikingly original form for a floor globe. Exceptionally elegant with its base and gently inclined column of chromed steel, it makes a powerful statement in any room and lets you view the cartography comfortably even while standing. The distinctive cartography is rendered in gray and white: when unlit, the oceans appear white and the continents gray. When the light is switched on, only the continents glow brightly while the seas stay dark. The labeling is in English and, alongside each country name, shows the telephone country code and internet domain suffix (e.g. 49/Germany.de).
The 30 cm diameter sphere is lit by an LED, allowing the piece to serve as a full-fledged floor lamp that switches on and off via a foot switch.
